George V. Sehon, President and Chief Executive Officer, announces today that Jacob S. “Jake” Edwards, Esq. has joined Marion State Bank as Compliance Officer. Jake is a 2002 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Additionally, he received his Juris Doctor/Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU in 2006.
Jake is married to the former Rebecca Melton. They have two children, Luke and Lucy Claire, and are members of North Monroe Baptist Church. Jake is a member of the Fourth Judicial District Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section.
