· Megan N. Wiens has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Megan is a native of Union Parish and a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a degree in Business Administration. During her three years with Marion State Bank, Megan has held positions as teller, credit analyst and consumer loan officer. George V. Sehon, President and Chief Executive Officer, announces today that Jacob S. “Jake” Edwards, Esq. has joined Marion State Bank as Compliance Officer. Jake is a 2002 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Additionally, he received his Juris Doctor/Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU in 2006.

Jake is married to the former Rebecca Melton. They have two children, Luke and Lucy Claire, and are members of North Monroe Baptist Church. Jake is a member of the Fourth Judicial District Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. Wiens previously worked as a teller at the MSB Sterlington branch while in college. She is a native of Union Parish, and a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a degree in Business Administration. In her new role, she will be based at the Farmerville branch of MSB.
